Welcome to my blog about my feline friends. I’m new to blogging, but it is something I have wanted to do for awhile. It was my dog-owner friend who encouraged me to blog about my cats. Tommy’s friendly and outgoing personality won him over to the virtues of felines. In fact, he was so taken by my Tom-boy that he gave me this domain name as a gift.
When cat number three joined our household, I really began to feel like a catwoman. Things became very lively for awhile, with hissy fits and jostling for the best spots. At times, I would find myself refereeing a wrestling match, although mostly I would let them work it out among themselves. The main challenge arose from introducing a youngster into a senior cat domain. I moved the newcomer in gradually, bringing him for longer and longer visits over a period of several weeks. All went well until the little fella grew bigger and stronger. The trio often experienced times of peaceful co-habitation, which gave me confidence it would all work out.
Then tragedy struck this past November when my beloved Tommy became ill. Unfortunately he didn’t make it. Losing my good friend has left an emptiness in my life and a pain in my heart. So I am dedicating this blog to Tommy’s memory.
